Nowadays several Chinese methods of health care (Qigong) are practiced worldwide. To be able to benefit from these exercises a proper and regular practice is necessary. The Pagode instructs following systems:
Chan Si Gong
"The ability to wound a silk thread" is an exercise system developed by the Chen family. It combines spiral body movements with the flow of the "Qi". The health-promoting exercises can have a positive effect on metabolic, digestive, nervous and circulatory.
Zhan Zhuang Neigong
"To stand like a tree is one of the most effective systems for the development of inner balance. Due to the precision alignment of the skeleton a deep relaxation is created. In connection with the imagination (Yi), the flow of "Qi" through the body is encouraged. First evidence of Zhan Zhuang Gong reaches far back, witch has been practiced in different schools with different applications.
Wang Xiangzhai (1885-1963), a well-known boxer from the province of Hebei and the founder of Yiquan, advised Zhan Zhuang as a treatment in the hospitals of Beijing and Boading and helped the method as a healthcare to a new reputation and popularity.
